to make the most of our visit!

Make a Plan for the Week!

Our visit is a special day for your students, and we want them to have a memorable experience. To make it exciting and impactful, start by discussing and planning for it! Creating a schedule leading up to the visit will show your students that it's a big deal and will enhance their experience.

Example Schedule -

9:00 - 10:00 1st Graders

10:05 - 11:05 Kindergarten

11:10 - 12:10 4th Grade

12:10 - 12:40 Break

12:40 - 1:40 2nd Grade

1:45 - 2:45 3rd Grade

What to Include Each Day:

1. Spirit Theme: Examples - Wear bright colors and jeans, Sunglasses Day, Dress as your favorite book character day, Hat day, Pajama Day, School Gear Day...

2. Reading Plan: Plan 20 minutes of reading in your classroom today

​

3. Activity: Choose from our wide variety of activities on our Activity Page and include this link on your Google Doc: Sunnythefirefly.com

Create a Bulletin Board!

Download the pieces!

Decorate the school by creating a field of fireflies! Have students color and cut out the firefly and oval glow. Complete the sentence and glue the two pieces together!
